INFORMACIÓN

La Copa Real Federación Española de Fútbol, también conocida como Copa Federación, es una competición de fútbol disputada anualmente por los clubes de la Segunda División B y la Tercera División de España, que no hayan accedido por su posición a disputar la Copa del Rey o que hayan quedado eliminados en la primera ronda.

Se juega mediante eliminatorias a doble partido, incluyendo la final. Se disputa en dos fases: una primera de carácter autonómico, y una segunda, a nivel nacional, en la que participan los vencedores de cada comunidad autónoma más el vencedor de la temporada anterior.

La competición fue creada en 1945 y únicamente se disputaron cinco ediciones hasta 1953 con finales a partido único, momento en el que dejó de disputarse. Nuevamente se restaura en 1993 por la Real Federación Española de Fútbol. La Unión Deportiva Puertollano (anteriormente Puertollano Industrial) y el Real Jaén son los clubes que más veces la han ganado, en 2 ocasiones.
